Why does it Matter?Feeling connected to your community has lots of health and wellbeing benefits that support resilience, independence and good physical and mental health. Social Prescribing organisations aim to connect people to services and activities in their community in order to benefit overall health and wellbeing. Examples include volunteering, arts activities, group learning, gardening, befriending, cookery, healthy eating advice and a range of sports.
